Not only that, we had to wake my 5 year old up from a dead sleep, pack up (again), and move down the hallway to another room. I requested a new room but the new room wasn’t like the first two. I put the pest in a Gatorade bottle and brought it downstairs. I knew it was a bed bug because I’ve been in the industry for 15+ years and have had my fair share of these incidents over the course of those years so I know what they look like, and I also know it can happen. I ended up feeling it again and felt a bug on my stomach. As I was laying in bed, I thought I felt something crawling on me but dismissed it thinking I was crazy. We had an early flight in morning (5am) so we packed up quickly, settled in (again) and got the kids to bed. Slight inconvenience but things happen, and they moved us across the hall. We noticed after settling in that the AC didn’t work properly, and after the facilities guy came up, we were informed it was not going to work and we had to move rooms. I was traveling with my wife and three kids (two of them under 5) so you can imagine getting them settled in and unpacked can be time consuming. We were happy find something that was much nicer. We checked in around 4p-5p from leaving the Ramada due to the lack of cleanliness and overall condition.
